Who's Who

In 1991 a company called Toy Headquarters (THQ) Re-released the dolls. They released four versions of Strawberry Shortcake and one version each of Lime Chiffon, Lemon Meringue, Orange Blossom, and Raspberry Tart. These dolls had a 1990's look and had bigger eyes.

These dolls were not produced in boxes, but on cards. Each doll was released with two outfits.  There was a paper doll type doll wearing one outfit and one vinyl doll wearing the other outfit. There were also different colored combs, than the traditional red comb produced with all the original Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Included with the dolls was also a stage that turned where the dolls could be played with. 

THQ also re-released two Strawberry Shortcake herself rag dolls, one Strawberry Shortcake herself Baby Doll (Blowkiss), the Berry Bake Shoppe, and Maple Stirrup and the Oatsmobile.

The dolls were not very popular, but Strawberry Shortcake collectors still love them
